Alyssa Laureen

Alyssa Grecu studied Social Sciences (B.A.) at the University of Giessen and Conflict Studies (M.A.) at the University of Augsburg. From 2015 to 2019 she wrote her dissertation at the University of Luxembourg within the research project SASAL (School Alienation in Switzerland and Luxembourg). Her dissertation was designed as mixed method study using the example of Luxembourg. Doing so she investigated alienation from learning in lower secondary school analysing the contribution of differential learning and developmental milieus.  Since 09/2019 she is a postdoctoral researcher within the InES-Institute at the University of Luxembourg. Her research interests are: quantitative and qualitative methods, mixed method research, culture sociology, sociology of education as well as comparative research.
