Heimböckel

Dieter Heimböckel graduated in German Philology, Italien Language and Italian Literature at Duisburg University in 1991. He was awarded his PhD and his professorial qualification (Habilitation) in New German Literature  from the University of Duisburg in 1995 and 2001. From 2005 to 2009 he was Senior Lecturer (Akademischer Rat) at the University of Regensburg. Since 2009 he has been Professor of Literature and Interculturality at the University of Luxembourg. He currently heads the Institute for German Language, Literature and for Interculturality.
