Emanuel
Schembri
Emanuel Schembri graduated in Health Management (B.A.) at the German University of Applied Sciences for Prevention and Health Management (DHfPG), Saarbrücken in 2017 and achieved his degree Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Science at the Heidelberg University in 2019.
Prior to joining University of Luxembourg, he obtained six years of experience in cancer research at the National Center for Tumor Diseases of Heidelberg (NCT) and partially in the faculty of medicine of the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
During this period, he worked with and monitored cancer patients to investigate the effects of physical activity on quality of life and cancer related side effects in cancer patients.
At the University of Luxembourg, he is a research and development specialist in the department of social science, Centre of Childhood and Youth Research. He is currently working on the Luxembourg Youth Report 2020, a study that analysis the health and well-being of young people in Luxembourg.
