Murphy

Emily Murphy is a researcher at the Institute for Research on Socio-Economic Inequality (IRSEI). Prior to joining the University of Luxembourg in March 2020, she worked at the University of Oxford and at the University of Zürich.
She received her PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Lausanne (NCCR LIVES, 2015), her MSc in Sociology from the University of Oxford, and her BA (Hons.) in Business, Economics and Social Studies from Trinity College Dublin. Her research field is economic sociology, in which she examines questions on equity in the nexus between education and the labour market.
