Koeleman

Floor Koeleman is an art historian and PhD candidate at the University of Luxembourg. She specialized in historic interiors at the Radboud University Nijmegen (the Netherlands).

Her current research project entitled Visualizing Visions is embedded within the doctoral training unit ‘Digital History and Hermeneutics’, supported by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR). Floor studies the Flemish genre of seventeenth-century constcamer paintings, with a special focus on digital methodology. This project is situated at the crossroads of art history, the history of science, and natural philosophy. In addition, her research interests are the reception of antiquity in visual culture, and early modern practices of collecting and recollecting.
