Weber

Weber Jean-Marie has a degree in Theology from the University of Freiburg in Breisgau and a degree in Social Communication from the University of Louvain-La-Neuve. He did a DU in Analytical Psychotherapy at the Faculty of Medicine in Strasbourg and his PhD at the Faculty of Psychology in Strasbourg.

Before joining the University, he was a secondary school teacher at the Institut d'Etudes Educatives et Sociales in Luxembourg. For several years he was director of studies for the training of secondary school teachers. (FOPED)

He is an active member of the FEDEPSY (European Federation of Psychoanalysis) and of the Ecole Psychanalytique de Strasbourg.

In his research activities and publications he is interested in the historical and epistemological aspects of the links between psychoanalysis and pedagogy. He works mainly on the conceptualisation, analysis and evaluation of training systems, specifically with regard to the analysis of practices, the training course, tutoring and mentoring.
