Jessica
Levy
After finishing her Bachelor and Master of Science in Psychology (University of Trier), Jessica Levy started her PhD at the Luxembourg Centre for Educational Testing. During her studies, she was first introduced to large-scale testing as a test supervisor for the PISA and NEPS studies. Additionally, she is trained in Systemic Therapy and Counselling (Phasic model). Her research interests include educational psychology, large-scale assessment, and teacher and school effectiveness.
Her PhD project with the title “The use of value-added (VA) scores for the identification of highly effective pedagogical practices for diverse student populations” is part of the Doctoral Training Unit CALIDIE (Capitalising on Linguistic Diversity in Education), funded by the Fonds National de la Recherche.
