Fernandez de Henestrosa

Martha Fernandez de Henestrosa is a PhD student working at the Institute for Health and Behaviour as part of the research unit INSIDE.

She completed her Master`s degree in Psychology: Psychological Intervention (focus on Health domain) at the University of Luxembourg by mid-February 2019. Her academic projects so far have focused on media psychology, such as the positive and negative effects of video game play.

In April 2019, she started her PhD studies in the area of work psychology under the supervision of Prof. Georges Steffgen. In her doctoral project, she explores the effects of job characteristics on employees’ well-being.

Among her research interests are quality of work, work engagement, burnout, and positive psychology.
