Ralph
Petry

Ralph Petry joined the Department of Geography and Spatial Planning in October 2016 and works as a research specialist for the National Contact Point Luxembourg in the European Migration Network (EMN Luxembourg). He holds a Master of Arts in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Vienna. In his MA thesis, he analysed the 2015 referendum in Luxembourg on the possible extension of voting rights for non-citizen residents.

 

His main responsibilities within EMN Luxembourg include the support of the coordinator of the contact point with regard to the administrative and financial management, as well as data collection and analysis in the fields of migration, asylum and integration in Luxembourg in the context of EMN studies and other EMN outputs. Furthermore, he is a member of the Glossary and Thesaurus Working Group of the European Migration Network.
