Biewers

Dr. Sandra Biewers Grimm is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecture at the University of Luxemburg and Member of the Centre for Childhood and Youth Research (CCY). Her main research interests include institutional and societal conditions in the fields of non-formal education, youth work and youth welfare services, institutional change and quality research. 

Currently she is part of the national youth report team and principal investigator in the JUBI project, which explores the value and potential of non-formal educational opportunities in the professional context of youth work. 

Sandra studied Social Sciences (dipl.) at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne and Social Management (M.A.) at the University of Bonn, Germany. In 2018 she received a PhD at the University of Mainz. Bevor she joined the University of Luxembourg in 2007, she worked as a researcher and lecture at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne and the Studies Centre on Youth (CESIJE) in Luxembourg.
