Thiltges

Sébastian Thiltges is a doctor of comparative literature and postdoc at the University of Luxembourg, where his research focuses on the didactics of Luxembourg literature.

After his dissertation on the novelistic description of silent landscapes (2013), he dedicated himself to ecocriticism and cultural ecology in two postdoctoral projects: a first one at the Université du Mans (France) on ecology in children’s and youth literature, then a second one at the Universität des Saarlandes (Germany) on nature and environment in Luxembourg literature.

During the academic year 2017/2018, he was a lecturer at the Université de Lorraine (France).
As part of this research, he publishes several papers and co-directs the books "Eco-graphies: écologie et littératures pour la jeunesse" (Presses universitaires de Rennes 2018), and "Kulturökologie und ökologische Kulturen in der Großregion" (Peter Lang 2020).
