Sylvie
Gamo
Sylvie Gamo received her PhD in Mathematics from the University of Paris 7 in 1990 and her PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Paris 8 in 2009. Her experience includes teaching at secondary and college level (particularly in the field of vocational training).
Her research focuses on the study of cognitive mechanisms involved in comprehension, reasoning and knowledge acquisition. Since 2012, she is a research associate at the Luxembourg Centre for Educational Testing (LUCET, University of Luxembourg). Her responsibilities include developing the tests for assessing students' mathematical competencies in grade 7 and 9.
