Kolnberger

Thomas Kolnberger has studied history at the Universities of Innsbruck and Vienna (Austria). He completed his doctoral research at the Universities of Luxembourg and Passau (Germany) and graduated in 2012 summa cum laude (Topic: Historical Geography of Phnom Penh). As postdoc, he was researcher-cum-coordinator of the FNR-funded research project RIP (2015-2018, https://history.uni.lu/research-rip/) and since 2019, he is part of the ongoing research project Military History of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg in a transnational perspective (https://history.uni.lu/military-history/) at the University of Luxembourg. His fields of expertise are Military History, History of Luxembourg (19th century), Historical and Urban Geography, Sepulchral Culture.
