Professor Dr Mouez Khalfaoui (University of Tübingen, Germany)

Mouez Khalfaoui is Professor of Islamic jurisprudence and Islamic thought at the University of Tübingen, Germany since 2012. He began his academic career at the University of Tunis, and earned a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from the University of Erfurt in 2008. He has lectured in Islamic Studies and Arabic at several Western Universities and in the MENA region as well. He is a member of several publishing, advising, social and political boards, both in Europe and worldwide. He has been a visiting Professor at the Luxembourg School of Religion & Society in 2020
