The ADP Lab is specifically designed to accommodate research with older populations and to investigate developmental processes in later life with state-of-the-art methods. 
 

The User Lab is a cutting-edge facility to design and evaluate user experiences. Le lab provides optimal conditions for user research, creativity techniques, and co-creation along all the UX Design process

The MExLab is a scientific lab environment in which media-related topics in developmental, cognitive, and social psychology can be experimentally studied. The equipment includes driving simulators, game consoles, virtual reality technology and a video observation system.

The CLIPSLAB is designed to investigate the bi-directional communication between the brain and peripheral bodily organs and how this communication contributes to health, stress or disease (e.g., mental disorders and chronic physical conditions). The lab equipment includes bio-amplifiers to assess activity of the brain (electroencephalography), the heart (e.g., electrocardiography), the lungs (spirometry), the stomach (electrogastrography) and many others.

The purposes of the Psychotherapy Lab is the psychological assessment of mental disorders using established methods (e.g., Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5), the research on psychological interventions and the training of students in clinical psychological interventions. The lab is equipped with separate and customizable therapy rooms, as well as sophisticated video recording and control devices for data assessment, education and feedback.

Numeracy and literacy are essential in modern societies. The CNS Lab uses electroencephalography (EEG), as well as behavioral and eye-tracking studies to investigate how these cognitive processes function and how they are learned during (a)typical development.

Stress is a risk factor for a range of disorders, and also plays a role in the pathophysiology and persistence of chronic pain. The psychological, neurobiological and genetic mechanisms involved in stress and pain processing in healthy individuals and patients are studied in the LPN Lab.

The Addictive and Compulsive Behaviours Lab specialises in the study of addictive and compulsive behaviours such as gambling, gaming, Internet consumption, with the objective to design appropriate psychological interventions.

Researcher at the Cognition Lab use computer technology (e.g. IAT and eye-tracking studies) to study cognitive processes playing a role in people's decision-making and in the evaluation and judgment of themselves and others.

Research at the Child and Baby Lab aims to better understand how babies and children learn and develop, particularly during the early years of life, but also throughout childhood. The team creates fun studies that are developmentally appropriate.

The PAT-Lab offers an extensive collection of psychological assessment and testing tools to support research and teaching in psychology.
